When Dana chose the name for her business, she could not have picked a more literal brand. The Healing Way has helped me and my family on several occasions/experiences. My first experience with Dana was August of 2014. There was an accidental event where I had received 2nd - mid 3rd degree burns to my hand. About 2 days after my incident, Dana performed Reiki masterfully on my injury. I cannot pick another term for her healing as my blisters opened, healed and after just 2 weeks my hand appears scarless. Before seeing Dana, My Father, who is a licensed Paramedic and Medical Instructor, saw my injury and told me it looked serious. Not only did my Father say I would get scarring, but that I may not be able to make a closed fist for some time without some sort of physical therapy. Again, unless than 2 weeks, my hand was scarless and I had full range - in - motion and was able to clench my fist as good as before. My second experience with Dana was in December of 2019. My wife had just given birth to our 3rd son, and our middle child, Journey, had picked up a cup of freshly brewed coffee I made in the hospital waiting area. My son lifted the styrofoam cup from a tabletop and spilled it all over the front of his neck and chest. Being at a hospital, emergency staff assessed him and saw how badly he had been burned, a dn hospital staff suggested to my wife and I that he be transported via ambulance to a Burn Center 45 minutes away in Madison. After an overnight procedure of bandaging and removing damaged skin, our son was released. As soon as we got back into town, there was no question or doubt that he had to be seen by Dana. We drove to The Healing Way to have hime be seen. Dana suggested we drop him off and either wait or come back while she used her healing hands to perform Reiki on and around his burns. After about an hour, we returned and he was laying comfortable on Dana's Bed Table, with the temperament as though he had just woken up from a nap. She said he did very well, and that he remained very content the entire hour he was there (which to us was impressive considering he was only 2 years old.) When we took him back to the Madison Burn Unit to have his bandaging removed, the Dr's noticed less scabbing around the areas where they had expected to see more blistering. Just a few weeks later, Journey was fully healed with no scarring.           Lastly, I wanted to talk about Dana's ability to help with spirituality and overwhelm. We all run into situations in life, and not all of  them are always what we intend or expect. I've seen Dana numerous times for Reiki, during each session, it's like a cleanse of negativity that I was holding onto. She always has both incredible information and advice after these sessions. She goes in depth with what she feels and what she sees and it's been very conducive to reaching a better state of mind.   I highly recommend a session!!
